The Sacred Chain of Wisdom

Srila Prabhupada was born Abhay Charan De in Calcutta in 1896. After meeting his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, in 1922, he dedicated his life to spreading Krishna consciousness. In 1965, at age 69, he journeyed to America on a cargo ship with just forty rupees and a trunk of books. Over the next eleven years, he circled the globe fourteen times, established over 100 temples worldwide, initiated nearly 5,000 disciples, and translated over 60 volumes of Vedic literature. His most significant work, the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, has been translated into 76 languages. He departed from this world in 1977 in Vrindavan, leaving behind a legacy that continues to transform millions of lives.

Shriman Kratu Das Adhikari was born in 1944 in a Gujarati Vaishnava family with deep spiritual roots. He pursued higher education and earned an MS in Engineering from St. Louis University, USA. In 1977, while in Toronto, he received initiation directly from Srila Prabhupada, becoming one of his direct disciples. He served as Temple President of ISKCON Delhi for many years, guiding countless devotees on the spiritual path. In 2002, he accepted the responsibility of becoming an initiating spiritual master, continuing Srila Prabhupada's mission of spreading Krishna consciousness. He currently resides in the holy land of Vrindavan, where he continues to guide and inspire disciples worldwide.

HG Paresh Das, affectionately known as Paresh Prabhuji, represents the modern face of the ancient tradition. An MBA graduate who found deeper purpose in spiritual service, he has dedicated 19+ years to ISKCON. As an initiated disciple of Shriman Kratu Das Adhikari, he carries forward the authentic lineage while making it accessible to the contemporary seeker. His formal Vedic education includes Bhakti Sastri from KIHE and TTE from VIHE. As the founder of Updesh, he has created a community that has conducted 1,900+ daily classes without missing a single day. Currently serving as Senior Preacher at ISKCON Rohini, Delhi, he continues to guide working professionals, students, and families on their spiritual journey.
