Growing up with a natural curiosity for both worldly success and deeper meaning, I pursued education with dedication. The conventional path beckoned - excel in studies, build a career, achieve what society defines as success.
Armed with an MBA degree, I entered the corporate world with ambition. The boardrooms, the targets, the constant chase for growth - I lived it fully. Yet, amidst the spreadsheets and strategy meetings, something felt incomplete. Professional success couldn't answer the questions that arose in quiet moments.
My first encounter with ISKCON was not what I expected. Here were people who seemed to have what money couldn't buy - genuine peace. Meeting my spiritual master, Shriman Kratu Das Adhikari, a direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada, changed everything. His wisdom, combined with his own journey from engineering to devotion, showed me that spirituality wasn't about rejecting the world but understanding it deeper.
The decision to dedicate my life to spiritual service wasn't a rejection of my past - it was an evolution. I completed Bhakti Sastri from KIHE and TTE from VIHE, formal Vedic education that complemented my corporate training. The MBA taught me strategy; the scriptures taught me purpose.
When the world locked down, an opportunity emerged. What started as a small group call to keep community members connected became Updesh - a daily practice that has never missed a single day since. At 8:00 AM, every morning, we gather. Not because it's easy, but because consistency is the foundation of transformation.
Today, as a Senior Preacher at ISKCON Rohini, Delhi, I serve a community of seekers who, like me, are navigating modern life while seeking ancient wisdom. 19+ years of service, 1,900+ classes delivered, and the journey has only begun. The mission remains simple: help modern minds find ancient answers.
